This, the third report from the World Nuclear Association Waste Management and Decommissioning Working Group, publishes the main achievements and developments in the field over the period July 2000 - February 2002. It does not consider all the advances in that time, but instead identifies what the members of the working group consider to be the main points of progress towards the long-term safe disposal of all levels of radioactive waste.
